If it truly was an offense against you that I suggested Mister Carter ask Friday for access to your room after the excursion, I apologize. I realize you weren’t consulted before that decision, and I was reading only what I saw from him as caring.
If he didn't care he wouldn't pretend to. I've never seen him react that way to someone dying before even when it was his fault. That said, watching the excursion from the ship sounded awful in every particular and given any say in the matter I wouldn't do that to him a second time. -W
It is always horrific to be the one left behind, regardless of whether the excursion is a display for all to see, or merely a great unknown. Do communicate with him in the future.
